In Round 3 of the FFA Cup Heatherton United welcomed RMIT FC, a team which competes in the Victorian State League 4 North.
After some initial pressure by Heatherton, visitors ventured forward and capitalised on a Heatherton’s defensive error to take a 1-0 lead in 15th minute.

Heatherton United holds its Juniors Open Day on Friday, 16th February 2018, from 6:30-8:30 pm at 482 Springvale Rd, Springvale.
Boys and girls (all ages) are welcome to attend. Trainings are on Wednesday and Friday nights, from 6.45pm.

Preparations for the 2018 season commenced on Thursday 11th of January at the club’s soccer ground. The coaching staff welcomed all returning players, as well as some new faces who will inject fresh blood to the senior teams.
After a light training session all players enjoyed delicious food and drinks provided by the club.

Football Federation Victoria has announced the structure of the 2018 State Leagues competition. Changes were required due to a withdrawal of some clubs (eg Bendigo City FC, Rosebud Heart) or a merger of others.
As a result, Peninsula Strikers were reinstated to State 2SE despite finishing the 2017 season in 11th place. Newly promoted teams from State 3SE are Knox City and Brandon Park. Mooroolbark SC returns to the second division after playing in State 1SE for two seasons.

U nedjelju 19. novembra 2017. godine odrzana je redovna godisnja skupstina BH Centra, kojoj je prisustvovalo pedeset i tri clana sa pravom glasa.
Nakon usvajanja predlozenog dnevnog reda prezentirani su izvjestaji o aktivnostima i finansijskom poslovanju Centra u protekloj godini. Iz izvjestaja se moglo vidjeti da se intenzivno radilo na konsolidaciji Centra u operativnom, sportskom i finasijskom smislu. Nakon diskusije koja je uslijedala i cinjenice da su izvjestaji jednoglasno usvojeni, nametnuo se zakljucak da su nastojanja upravnog odbora da konsoliduje stanje bila uspjesna.
Posebno se to odnosi na efikasno i finasijski pozitivno okoncanje radova na sanaciji sale nakon pozara, te u potpunosti otplacenog duga/kredita, cime ce se direkno stedjeti oko $5,500 godisnje (iznos kamata, bez otplate glavnice).
