Heatherton Utd-BH Centar

Heatherton United’s first official match in 2015 was in Round 2 of the FFA Cup versus Keon Park SC, a State League 5 West team.

The game was played at BH Centre, Heatherton's home ground in Springvale on Saturday 28 February.

Heatherton showed their dominance by controlling the match from the very beginning and quickly taking the lead through Resul Heco. Not long after Heatherton got a second through Aziz Bayeh. Both added another goal each for a half time score of 4-1.

In second half coach Runje rested three players, introducing Mirza Pedic, Zijad Bajrektarevic and Alen Alagic. However, it did not affect the game plan as Heatherton continued to dominate in all areas, scoring 5 more goals.

Final score: Heatherton United 9 - Keon Park SC 1.

In the next round Heatherton will have a much harder ask against Manningham United Blues FC, a State League 1 team who finished the 2014 season in third place.

The game is scheduled on Saturday, March 7 @ 2PM, at Bosnia and Herzegovina Centre in Springvale.

Update:

Heatherton narrowly lost its Round 3 FFA Cup game. Visitors scored the only goal from a long range with 15 minutes to go.
